$25 Save-A-Lot Giveaway

I am a bit of a goober. Well, not really. I won $25 dollars worth of gift cards a couple of weeks ago from Smockity Frocks. I was so excited because I never win anything. Ever. I like Save-A-Lot because of all the great deals. Soooooo, I head out to Save-A-Lot to redeem my cards with grocery list in mind and, I pull up and I and what do I see? The store is closed! No. No. No. Yes. Yes. Yes.

I had no idea the store was closed down. When did that happen? I should have got a clue when I searched online for the store ad and nothing came up. It kept saying, no results found. I did not give up. Oh no. I knew there were two stores in my city, so I look up the phone number for the other store. I call it. Guess what? The number is no longer in service. Great.

After about a week of moping about not being able to use the cards, I decide to give them away to someone who actually has a Save-A-Lot.

Update on Giveaway & Why I Was MIA

Sorry I haven’t posted in awhile. I got hit with a horrible stomach bug on Saturday and spent Sunday, yes Valentine’s Day in urgent care hooked up to an IV with people poking and proding me. Really fun times. Three and a half hours I finally walked out the door.

I just began eating solid food yesterday, so needless to say I was a little wiped out. In fact yesterday was the first time I was able to sit up for any length of time.

The doctor said there is a stomach thing going around and they have seen a lot of people recently with this bug. Although not as bad as mine. So my aplogies.
