Help Me Out Molly Ringwald
On my other blog, Life is Like a Box of Chocolates I have a Tag that consistently brings traffic to my blog. What is it? Molly Ringwald. It really dumbfounds me because I can not imagine that many people are searching Molly Ringwald. It is not like she is out there doing a lot of acting these days. I think her popularity peaked in the 80′s. I have to admit, I did like her movies and will watch if they happen to come on cable.
So why am I blogging about this? Because I am conducting a little experiment here. I want to see if it will bring more traffic here too. I new moving my blog would result in the traffic taking a hit and it looks like it is slowly increasing, but I am impatient and I want it like yesterday.
So Molly Ringwald, help me out here. Get me some hits please. If you do, I promise I will rent The Breakfast Club on my next Netflicks delivery.

Calendar for the Fallen
I found this video Fox News this morning. Patricia Boyd, a two blue star mom came up with the idea to create a calendar that honors fallen service people from Minnesota.
This is a wonderful idea. Something every state should think about doing.

Got to Love Plugins
Every since I moved my site and self-hosted it, I have been collecting a wonderful little arsenal of plugins. I am beginning to think there is a plugin for just about everything. There are plugins that solve problems, get information, add features and customize your blog.
So, far I redirected my blogger blog, built a sitemap, made custom headers and footers just to name a few. But the best one so far is the plugin that stops WordPress from chopping up my HTML code. I was having problems getting my posts past auto rejection on Socialspark. This was a serious problem because we are talking about my extra income here.
So I did what I always do when I have a problem to solve. I Googled it. Yes, Google always comes through for me. That is another blog post though.
Anyway, any of you out there with WordPress blogs, if you are not taking advantage of plugins, you do not no what your missing. Check out WordPress.
Well, I am out of here. I am off to go find some more nifty plugins.

Personalize Your Soda
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Jones Soda. All opinions are 100% mine.
Doesn’t everyone love a personalized product? I think everyone at one time or another had a mug with their name on it. I know when my kids where in grade school, my husband and I received several as Christmas gifts. Those usually had the words Mom or Dad.
Well these days you can virtually personalize everything. I recently heard of a company called myJones custom soda where you can customize a bottle of soda with an image or picture and you can choose your own flavors. They have natural, organic, energy drinks and sugar-free. So there is flavor and type of soda for everyone.
I decided it would be nice to put Lolly Pop Kid on the label. It would be a nice gift for family members. I picked the Lime with Orange
Jones Natural for the flavor because Lolly loved oranges and as you can see, he had very orange hair. This is the picture I would put on the label because I love his big toothy smile. I would name the soda, Our Lolly Pop Kid.
A six-pack of this flavor costs $10.99 plus shipping and handling and whether you drink the soda or not you still have a nice keepsake or a great gift. Head on over and check out these great products. I sure there is something for everyone.
When you go, please come back and leave a comment on what you would name you soda. I would be fun to hear your soda names. Enjoy

Ahh, That’s Better
I just was not really happy with the other theme so I have been coming the wordpress themes sites for a few days now. I really like this one. I wanted some color, but still keep simplicity. Most themes are so plain that I had to look around quite a bit before finding this theme.
I am now permanently at home here. I have been waiting for my sites that I write sponsored posts for to change the url. I guess they were bogged down from Christmas. In fact that is what they told me when I a message on their board.
Next up, get my traffic up. This will be the hard part. Off to Twitter to try and drive some traffic!

Passengers Singing Hey Jude in Newark
I am sure most people have heard about the security breach at the Newwark Airport on Sunday night. At least these travelers tried to make the best of things when Josh Wilson led them in a rendition of Hey Jude.
I tried to embed the video but it is not cooporating. It is Monday I guess. Watch the passengers singing.

Christmas in Heaven
My thoughts and emotions are all over the place this year. I am holding up ok, but quite honestly, I am just not in a joyus mood. I miss Lolly Pop Kid and my deployed son, LCpl Honda. I wish they were here. That makes Christmas a little tough to deal with. It is also hard to believe Lolly has been gone for six months as of yesterday.
I started thinking that Christmas in Heaven must be spectacular. It has to be so much more than just lights, presents and decorated trees. This thought gives me great comfort. Lolly is lucky to be part of something bigger than any of us can imagine. He really is getting the best gift of all. He is encompassed in God’s love and my family was given the gift of having him in our lives. For that I am extremely grateful
So even though I wish he was still here, I know that he is ok and that I will see him again. So this Christmas I will spend time with my family. They all understand. We will be grateful for the gift of our Lolly Pop Kid.
Merry Christmas Lolly. Sleep in heavenly peace.
