I am a mom of three grown kids, two of which are married with kids and one active duty Marine. I am also the grandmother of four. One granddaughter is a cancer survivor and doing well. One grandson is an angel in heaven and I have twin grandsons that are almost a year old. I am also my husband’s girlfriend.

I love writing, blogging & tweeting. My hobbies are gardening, boating and graphic arts along with reading and of course, surfing the internet. I also enjoy reviewing products and websites.

I  have a lot of life experience after raising three children and being married for 31 years. I was a stay-at-home mom when it was not popular during the late seventies and eighties. I then reentered the work force when my kids began school. I also went back to school at the age of 39 and earned a degree in graphic arts.

I own three blogs; one is focused on family life. The second is focused on my life as the mom of a Marine as well as military charities, events and other useful information about the military. The third blog follows the current deployment of my son, which thankfully will be ending soon! I also write for a blog that features articles by parents of children currently serving in the military.
