See How My Garden Grows – A Summer Series
Sunday, August 29th, 2010
I just found out that asparagus does not bear until the second or third year after it is planted. It starts out with a vine and then later bears a stalk. As you can see, here are the vines.
Here are a few peppers.
Here is a tiny Bell Pepper.
My beans are starting to recover from the evil sun. Send good karma their way.
Finally, the new corn seems to be coming along nicely.
I plan to take out the cucumber plants and plant spinach. Wish me luck. If you are wondering about Lucie, she choose to be lazy in the house. But she is sympathetic, no?

Thanks for the post. I am always looking for ways to improve my gardening and cooking skills. My family loves eating real food.
