BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD DOG!!!
Lucie, my bad big, red dog is walking a short tightrope. Or in dog would a short lease. Over the last couple of weeks I have come home from work to find some items chewed on or chewed up. It started with one of my pillows. She bit a hole in the pillow case because hell going in from the open part was just too easy.
I did not take photos that day because I did not think about it. I was too busy beating her with the pillow. A couple of days after that I came home to find her bed is a million pieces all over the house. I neglected pictues again since I was distracted and it took nearly all afternoon to find all those pieces. I sure there are still a few strays under the bed.
Sooo, a couple days after that I came home to find BUDDY’S bed in another million pieces. ARGGGG! Needless to say, Buddy did not take it well. He loves his bed. He has never chewed anything that does not taste like food. When I picked up the pieces and stuffed them in a bag this what he did.
He is trying to pull the pieces out of the bag.
I thought about stuffing the pieces back in the bed, but of course she ruined the zipper too. Lucie has one speed. Go! Winning! Not.
Yea, his whole head is in the bag. That’s not saying much as he a tiny head.
Somebody’s been sleeping in my bed.
And they tore up my pillow and comforter.
And it ain’t Goldilocks!

I Love The Abuse On Hell’s Kitchen
Contribution by German Flowers
The best show on TV today is Hell’s Kitchen with the famous mean chef Gordon Ramsey. He is so awful to people, but I have to admit it’s a lot of fun to watch. I can’t imagine ever trying out for a show where you would suffer from such verbal abuse.
I haven’t decided if he improves their cooking, because they don’t really show him teaching the aspiring chefs new techniques or tricks. Maybe this is something they do behind the scenes. The contestant that wins receives the head chef position over one of Gordon’s restaurants, so maybe that is worth the abuse that Gordon heaps on.
He does have nice moments, and I enjoy the part of the show when he talks to people and shows them respect. I think that eating at his restaurant would be nice, because he always makes sure that the food that leaves the kitchen is well made and presentable. I also think that some of the dishes look appetizing and would like to try them.
I watch this show on my satellite T from EXPERTSATELITE.com when I record it on my DVR system. I watch a lot of TV and the DVR allows me to watch what I want when I want to watch it. I can record things that are on at the same time and watch them later.

Updating the Specs.
I am long over due for new glasses. I have a pair of those oval shaped glasses that I got years ago. I also have a pair of “drugstore specs” that I picked up a while back. I have had good luck with picking up prescription eyeglasses on the internet so I think I will go that route again.
I am picky about the frames. I can not stand anything with nose pads. They are just not comfortable for me and I will not wear a pair that has nose pads. I want small frames that I can look over because I can see at a distance perfectly well . But, I do not like reading glasses that sit lower on your nose. Just do not like the look. Also, no colors. That might have worked for Sally Jessy Raphael but not me.
I am leaning towards this style.
Nice combo of nerdy intelligence.
Here is a news report about zennioptical.com, the company that sells this particular pair. They have really great deals and you can get $200 to $300 dollar glasses for around $12.00. Yea, big difference. I don’t know about you, but I would rather spend that money on oh, let’s see, clothes and shoes, yes shoes! Check it out. I am, because it is time I move into the 21st century of eyeglasses along with my laptop and smart phone.
Without glasses I can not see either one and that is just wrong.

Doing My Civic Duty.
I had jury duty today. This may sound strange, but I like jury duty. I find it extremely interesting. Maybe I was a lawyer or judge in another life. Who knows. Besides, it is a paid day off so why not? Today’s case was a DUI. I did not get picked to be on the jury. I never get picked when I go. I was a little disapointed but I got to come home at 11:30am so that was a good thing.
It was funny, I ran into someone I sorta of know, inadvertenly. So I had someone to talk to while waiting forever in the hall. I am pretty sure I met this person years ago at a party that we both remember. I figured out that I probably know him because of the place of business where he works. Small world. Another funny thing is two other people at my work got jury duty on the same day, only mine was postponed until today and theirs was not. One person got on a trial for three days.
Anyway, I came home and guess what I did? Yes, of course, work. Sometimes I do not know what to do with myself if I am not working. But that is ok. Work=$. $=food, paid bills and security.
Well I am going to end this boring post and go watch me some reality TV. Because even I have a limit on work. That and I am hungry.

Is Your Patio Ready for Spring?
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Pier 1 for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I was just talking in my last post about the weather warming up here and it got me thinking about gardening but that is not all. It is the time of year when you think about spending time outdoors. Which gets me to think about outdoor furniture. Pier 1 Imports is about to debut their new spring collection of outdoor furniture and decor.
I would love to pick up a nice outdoor table and chair for my patio. Lady Red and I always talk about using outdoor furniture inside too. That's why we are BFFs. We think alike. Anyway, Pier 1 has some great outdoor furniture that I would consider putting in my house. Like the Coco Cove Outdoor Swiveland chair and the Sunset Pier Outdoor Coffee Table.
Nice Huh! I know Lady Red would like these too! I am really getting into this table and chair.
Pier 1 has some great bargains. That rug is just $13.56. The pillow is only $20. Somebody hold me back!
Pier 1 also has some great prices on outdoor Papasans, those comfy, round wicker chairs with the overstuffed pillow. Great for relaxing in the backyard. Spring officaially starts on March 20th. So know is the time to start thinking about updating your patio and getting ready for your spring and summer events.
You can also participate in the upcoming Pier 1 Tweetups in Dallas on March 22nd, Atlanta on April 5th and
NYC on April 20th. Don't forget to sign up for the Pier 1 Outdoor newsletter so you can be the first to pick up the great deals this spring. Visit www.pier1.com/outdoor to sign up for a special in-store offer during the week of March 18-20.
Spring is in the Air.
Actually it is more like summer since the tempurature is supposed to reach near 90° today. The Desert Southwest is not much for seasons. It is basically hot for six months and semi-cold for six months.
I am feeling the itch to start gardening. I won’t be putting in a formal garden this year. I am going to try gardening in pots. I do not have the room were I live and my back yard is dirt so I am not going to fight my dogs from getting muddy and tracking it all through the house. No way, Jose.
I need to do some research on just what I can grow in pots. I know tomatoes can get big and I am not sure what size pots I will need. I am also going to give the herbs another crack this year.
One good thing, I will be able to move the pots out of the sun so my veggies do not get burned up like they did last year. I am fighting the urge to go the big home improvement store. Sigh, just a little bit longer.

Shopping With Online Dell Coupons
I love my red Dell laptop. So far I have never had a problem with it since I bought it two years ago. It is my second laptop and I must admit I will never go back to a desktop again. Nothing against them but I like the portability factor. My laptop has been to hospitals, airports, laundry mats and traveled to other states. Outside of my smartphone, my laptop is one of my favorite technology tools.
I have a point and click digital camera that works well, but I have my eye on a digital SLR camera so I can learn more advanced photography for personal pleasure and professional blogging purposes. I found a site featuring Dell coupons. I like everyone else loves to find great deals. With Dell coupon codes I can shop at my favorite electronics manufacturer and get free shipping on certain items with Dell coupons.
When I am ready to make my camera purchase I will definitely be on the look out for a coupon to save money and make my dream camera become a reality. Until then I will continue to use the point and click and my smartphone to take photos and try and soak up some photography knowledge.

So You Think You Can Diaper Your Dog? You Betcha!
I wrote about trying to get a dog diaper on my Chihuahua, Buddy. Needless to say it was not pretty. So, when the lovely people from Peekeeper contacted me and wanted to send me a Peekeeper Dog Diaper to try out I thought well why not.
The Peekeeper Dog Diaper is basically made of cloth material and is a harness the wraps around the dog’s shoulders and underside. You then insert a sanitary pad, yea you heard that right and the dog is ready to go. When the dog pees it collects in the pad and not on your floor or furniture. For bigger dogs you can use an adult incontinence pad. Also, the dog can not wiggle out of the Peekeeper Dog Diaper.
Here is Buddy wearing his Peekeeper. Don’t let his grim expression fool you. He’s eleven and a bit of a grumpy old man!
Here he is outside. You see that puddle by the chair? Yea, nothing is sacred. His mentality is why jump off the porch and pee in the yard when there is a perfectly good lawn chair to pee on. Not feeling so smug are you now Buddy?
I found the Peekeeper Dog Diaper easy to get on Buddy and he does not seem to mind. As I said the regular diaper did not go over well at all. The Peekeeper is machine washable and made of durable material. There are five colers, two for females only and one for males only. I got the blue demim for Buddy. The site tells you how to measure your dog to get the right size which is important and then you pick your color and sex of your pet and your Peekeeper Dog Diaper will be on its way!
I must admit I am in love with this product. I can not tell you what a chore it is to come home everyday and have to clean up after Buddy. Even though I put down puppy pads he did not always use them.
I am not the only satisfied customer either. Just go to the Peekeeper and read the glowing reviews. Thank you Peekeeper! My floors thank you too! If you place an order before April 15th you can get 10% off your one Peekeeper Dog Diaper. Just put in the discount code JB2B10 and start saving your floors too!
I was compensated for this post but my opinions are my own.

I Love Getting Pretty Things. – Fruit of the Loom Bra Review
A couple of weeks ago Fruit of the Loom contacted me and asked if I would like to review a couple of bras for them. I said sure! As I spoke about in this post I am in need of new bras so this was the
perfect opportunity. Well, the bras arrived a few days ago and I was to surprised to find that included in the package were two pairs of boy leg panties too! Bonus!
Although this one is pink the bra I received is an exquisite turquoise shade push up bra. It is lined with a matching pattern with lace on the front of the cups. The straps are also lace and right in the middle of the cups there is two small silver hearts. So romantic and girly. The bra is very comfortable and gives great support while enhancing your cleavage. One pair of the panties matches the bra so it is perfect for a romantic evening.
The second bra is an unlined sports bra. It came in white and is great for when
you are at home and do not want to wear a regular bra. I know when I get home from work the shoes and bra have to go. So this bra was great under a t-shirt and you do not look like you are bra less. It was even comfortable to sleep in. I think it will be great this summer to sleep in all by itself.
The best think about this review is you can take advantage of this special Fruit of the Loom promotion and get five dollars off your entire order and that is like getting the shipping free. Just use this discount code B2BFRUIT when checking out. This code expires on March 31, 2011 so hurry and take advantage and find your perfect Fruit of the Loom bra.
I was compensated by Fruit of the Loom for this review but my opinions and views are my own.
