Soft As A Baby’s Behind.
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux's Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.
Since my children are long since out of diapers, I do not have to worry about such things as diaper rash. I do have twin boy grandchildren and another grandson on the way. Therefore, my kids do have to think about diapers rashes and such.
I had never heard about Boudreaux's Butt Paste until I saw some advertising for it. At that time, I had the opportunity to receive a sample, but I got in after the samples were all gone. I thought I would give it to one of my kids to try. My daughter-in-law told me that she had tried Boudreaux's Butt Paste and was very satisfied with it. She likes how it does not stick to the baby’s skin and is easy to apply. She tells me it also has a pleasant smell unlike some other brands that make you want to leave the room.
I did some research and found out that it contains 16% Zinc Oxide. The top is an easy to open flip top, which is good when you have a wriggly baby. It comes in a handy travel size to keep in the diaper bag. There are also several sizes to choose from, 1oz,2oz,3oz and 4oz tubes along with a 16oz jar. Pediatricians also recommend it.
Boudreaux's Butt Paste has been featured on shows like Oprah, The Tonight Show, the Today Show, ESPN and While You Were Out. It also has appeared in magazines like People Magazine.
Go to Boudreaux's Butt Paste’s site and request your free sample today. I think I will go and get a sample for the new little boy that will join our family soon.

Please Pass The Burritos.
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Mission Foods. All opinions are 100% mine.
One of my favorite foods to eat is burritos. I am a big fan of Mexican food in general anyway, but burritos are my favorite. You can make a burrito out of just about anything. Have leftovers? Throw it in a tortilla and you have tomorrow’s lunch or a quick snack. They are great for an after school snack for the kids. You can whip up a Quesada within minutes and your kids will enjoy this healthy snack.
One brand that I use often is Mission Tortillas. They are cholesterol free and have 0 grams of trans fat per serving. They come in three different sizes, 6”, 8” and 10”, which can be use for many types of dishes.
At this time, Mission Foods proudly supports Share Our Strength, a company focused on ending childhood hunger. Help out by visiting www.MissionMenusChallenge.com. This summer you can enter the Mission Menus Challenge to compete in a Cook-off and get a chance to win a $10,000 dream kitchen makeover and other weekly prizes. The Old Days.
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Ramblers Way. All opinions are 100% mine.
I do not live in a small town, but I would like to. My parents came from a small town in Nebraska and I loved visiting when I was a child. I thought the buildings and homes were charming and a stark contrast to the modern architecture of today.
I liked the cafes and diners. You did not see chain restaurants like today. I always find it amusing that you can go to big cities all over the country and see the same restaurants, bookstores and drug stores in the same strip malls.
In big cities, you do not see many single-owned businesses like in past years. The good thing about these single-owned family businesses was they operated solely in America and the profits stayed in America. Now some big businesses outsource many jobs and the profits end up in another country.
There are however, some companies that do not outsource. One is Ramblers Way Farm. They make fine woolen apparel by growing, producing and employing people here in America to make their apparel. They also located to small towns that where economically challenged and have helped these towns recover financially.
Ramblers Way Farm epitomizes the term Made in America. These days it is hard to find many products manufactured solely in the United States. Finding products produced here should be important to every American. Especially since these are tough economic times.
It is possible that if more companies committed to producing only domestic product and employing only American citizens to manufacture the product, maybe the economy would rebound sooner.

Doing Generic.
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PBM Products. All opinions are 100% mine.
Do you buy generic products? Whenever I can, I do. Most generic products are exactly like the name brand products. Generic products do not have all the advertising costs that name brand does, so the product can be sold cheaper. I recently visited a site the listed 10 Products to Always Buy Generic Some, I do buy generic and some I never thought about.
When My kids where small I always bought generic cereal. Even then the price of cereal was high, not to mention what it is today. You almost have to take out a small loan to purchase a box. I have trouble justifying that in my mind.
I always get generic medications, over the counter and under the counter. For years I went to my local drug store and purchased their brand of generic Anacin. When I get a headache I need an industrial strength pain reliever to knock it out.
I also purchase generic batteries from the Dollar Store. Why pay more when you can get them for a dollar? Plus, my digital camera eats batteries so I am not spending a fortune financing my ever growing photography addiction.
Corvette always tries to convince me that name brand gasoline is better. I am not buying it because I just do not see a difference wherever I buy it. It could be a guy thing. I do not know.
I always buy generic flour, sugar and spices. Name brand spices are unbelievably expensive. This is another item I usually purchase from the Dollar Store. Hey, a dollar for a huge container. Can not beat that.
I am not sure if store brand formula was available when my kids where babies. I am sure if it was I would have used it. Raising babies is expensive, then they grow up and you have to send them to college. Maybe the money saved on formula can go to the college fund Just a thought.
It is true that breastfeeding is best, but sometimes for whatever reason that is not possible. I had trouble with my third child and finally had to give him formula. It is easy to find store brand formula at places like Walmart, Target and Walgreens. Did you know you can save up to $600 dollars a month? Remember the college fund?
Anyway, go read the article 10 Products to Always Buy Generic and start saving some money. Your kids will thank you in the future.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Charter. All opinions are 100% mine.
Do you use On Demand TV? If you do not then you are missing out. On Demand has thousands of movies and TV shows to watch. There is something for everyone in the On Demand menu.
If you love design shows you can watch shows about redecorating, home improvement or gardening. Mom will find plenty of cooking shows to watch and Dad will find just the right movie to watch. Kids will also find programs they like.
Best of all the programs and movies are always free. Premium channels and Pay-Per-View can be expensive over time and On Demand can save you some money for other things like say popcorn to eat while you are watching your favorite shows.
One of my new favorite shows is Glee. The humor is edgy and the characters are fascinating. Plus, they perform some great music.
When you visit the On Demand home page, you will see all the programming to choose from and watch. You will never again say there is nothing on because you pick what to watch everyday.
I am sure you will enjoy On Demand. You will ‘Like’ their Facebook page as well So give it a try and watch your favorite show today.

Men Have Skin Too.
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of The Men Pen. All opinions are 100% mine.
In today's world, men are seemingly venturing into the world of what was only products used by women. Take man bags for example. These are bags that resemble women's bags, but geared toward men. You see more and more men carrying a man bag. It is understandable, because men have things too and it must be hard to stuff everything in a pocket or a wallet.
I think the man bag evolved from the Fanny Pack that were popular in the mid 1990s. I personally am not a fan of the Fanny Pack, but apparently, a lot of men were. I remember Corvette remarking at the time that, "No way I would strapped one of those things on." To each his own.
Men using mens makeup is certainly nothing new either. Rock Stars have done it for years. mens cosmetics and skincare is out there for sure. I think this is good because, hey, men have skin too. I tried for years to get Corvette to use moisturizer to no avail. Not to mention sunscreen. I think with products targeted to men, they might be more likely to take better care of their skin.
As women, we have a plethora of products that clean, moisturize and conceal. There are so many makeup products available to women that it is enough to make your head spin. Well, ladies, move over because now men have their very own concealer. Ssh, don't tell Corvette, but I more than once helped him conceal a pimple or shaving cut. Now there is a product developed 4 years ago called The Men Pen. It will help cover acne, scars, redness, moles and other imperfections on the skin. It comes in 17 shades to match any man's skin tone.
I think this is a good thing, because now men do not have to suffer embarrassment if they have a breakout right before the big presentation to the CEO or taking their favorite girl to the senior prom. Young or old, all men can use this product. Girls, we might have to coax them a little, but I am sure if they see what The Men Pen can do, they just might try it. Just tell them they can keep it in your makeup bag so when his macho friends come over for a night of poker, no one will be the wiser.

A Watch For Dad.
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Voctorinox Swiss Army. All opinions are 100% mine.
I remember when I was a young child I used to play a game called Kick The Can with my sister and the neighborhood kids. Kick The Can is like Hide And Seek except the people hiding have to kick a can to be safe. The seeking person counts to a specified number and then “seeks” the other players.
I loved playing this game and we played it everyday. The best part of playing the game was when my Dad came home from work he would play with us. He would run and hide and laugh and run to kick the can when he was discovered. When he was the seeker, he would sneakily look for us. I sometimes wonder today if he let us reach the can before him sometimes. Anyway, it is a memory that has a special place in my heart.
I recently learned about a sweepstakes to help honor Dad.You can enter to win a Victorinox Swiss Army watch. Would you like a chance to win one for your Dad? 30 lucky winners will do just that over 30 days. Just become a fan of the Victorinox Swiss Army Facebook IWAW sweepstakes page and participate in the I Wear A Watch Sweepstakes.

Finding The Perfect Gift.
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of FriendGiftr. All opinions are 100% mine.
Do you sometimes find it hard to shop for people? Is it hard to find just the right gift for Uncle Joe or Grandma Bessie? Well I do believe I found the perfect solution. It is called FriendGiftr and you can find a gift card for over 120 merchants and restaurants. In addition, you do not have to go anywhere to pick up the gift cards. Just go to Friendgift’s site, pick out the merchant, pop in the recipient’s info, name, address etc and you are done! You can also use your smartphone, Blackberry, Iphone or Android to purchase a gift card and Friendgifr has a Facebook page that can be used to purchase cards too.
Now say the person you are gifting is not quite as excited about the merchant you chose. They can trade the card you sent for use on another merchant. There is no additional cost for the recipient to do so. In addition, the buyer does not know is the card in exchanged, so everyone is happy.
Did I also mention that the gift card is either digital or physical? The choice is completely up to you. The cards can be purchased in the amounts of $10, $20, $25, $35, $50, $75 and $100.
This would have come in handy for Butterfly’s birthday a couple of weeks ago. We got her shoes. She received two pairs. I could have got one pair and then given her a gift card for say Kohl’s and she could have picked out the second pair herself.
I think everyone likes to go out to eat. I was happy to see that you can get a Chili’s gift card because Chili's is a favorite restaurant of Corvette and me. I am amazed at the restaurant choices on Friendgiftr. Surely, there is a restaurant gift card that a friend or family member would love to receive.
So next time you need to find the perfect gift, why not try Friendgiftr? I think you will be pleased you did.
